May Commencement

Class of 2013, too early to think about graduation?  Not at all!  Join the Senior Class Council Facebook page for updates on graduation; don’t let it stress you out.

The May Commencement Convocation is the only university-wide event at which graduating seniors from all academic disciplines come together and celebrate their achievements at UC Berkeley. After the late 1960s, the University did not hold an overall graduation ceremony, choosing instead to focus on departmental graduations. In 1989, after a request from the Senior Class Council, the University reinitiated the event. The Senior Class Council has been delegated the responsibility of planning all facets of the annual Commencement Convocation in collaboration with the University and the California Alumni Association.

May Commencement 2013, will be held on May 18th.
